Trying to Design a Business Logo
A great logo gives you the opportunity differentiate yourself from your competitors. Anyone who sees a logo they recognise will have feeling towards that business or service, this may be good or bad. It needs to represents what your company stands for and also be easily recognisable. Definitely a very tricky thing when there is thousands of the other business logos out there which have been professionaly developed by a graphic design company.
I personally thought how hard could be? I knew roughly what I wanted so had a go on Photoshop however I really struggled to come up with anything that didn't look really cheesy. Everything I produced just looked tacky and unimaginative. I realised quite quickly that logo design is definitely a precise art and I was going to have to do a bit more research before I was going to have any luck.
There are many websites out there where you can buy tutorials for logo design so I tried a few of those and they just werent worth the money. Tutorials that I tried were not what I expected, they were far too basic and they didn't actually provided useful information on to develop a creative business logo. I certainly would not recommend going down this road if you are in similar boat. I found many of them to be a bit of scam so just have your wits about you. It is always best to contact a proper graphic design worthing company to help you out.
I started researching into websites showing logo samples. I thought maybe if I take inspiration from some good designs this would help my creativity. It didnt! It was time to contact a professional logo design company to see how much it would cost to produce a logo and time scales. I shocked by how reasonable the price was and also the speed in which they could produce the logos. They produced a couple of samples and they were excellent, very imaginative and precise! I didnt think they were going to get the image of my business correct and they did. I was careful to select a reputable web design worthing company.
If you are very creative I'm sure you wouldn't of struggled like I did however if your not leave it to the professionals!
